Sundarbans the World's Largest Mangrove Forest



Sundorbon is the world's largest mangrove forest. It lies in the Bangladesh and West Bengal regions of India. It is an island cluster with an estimated area of 6000 square Kilometers. It is estimated that there are now 400+ Bengal tigers and about 30,000+ spotted deer in the area! It forms the biggest block of littoral forests. The Sundarbans has been designated a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, offering splendid tourism opportunities.
